Marriage Contract between Sir Ryce Manxell of Bowpere co. Glam., kt, and John Dawebrigecourt of Wolston, Warwickshire, Esqre., and Roger Myenours, of Wyndlehill, co. Derby, Esqre., wherein a marriage is agreed between the said Sir Ryce and Cecill’, daughter of the said John, Sir Ryce undertaking to settle an estate of £40 yearly upon the said Cecill’ for life out of his estates in the lordship of Gower, the said John and Roger, and others, being trustees for the same; the trustees after the death of the said Cecill’ to receive 400 marks to purchase lands and tenements for the use of the issue of the marriage; and the said Sir Ryce to be paid 300 marks.
