Two 'mentioned in despatches' notifications , 8 November 1918 and 16 March 1919 , the first addressed to Major (Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel) A. O. Vaughan of the Labour Corps (61st Group), the second addressed to Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel A. O. Vaughan, D.S.O. of the Labour Corps, both notifications signed (reproduced signature) by Winston Churchill, then Secretary of State for War.

Statement signed (reproduced signature) by King George V acknowledging those killed in the First World War.
