Morhall to his son John Morhall, Holborne Court [London], [16]59 (three houses in Hodnet, personal) (together with a note by John Beeston); E. Parry to John Morrall, 1687 (together with the latter's petition to the King for a grant of the reversion of the office of examiner in the Court of Exchequer in the County Palatine of Chester); D[aniel] Morrall, Portsmouth, to his brother Edward Morrall, Royal Oak in Elsmere, [16]97 (the writer's capture by the French and his enforced enlistment in the Duke of Bolton's regiment); John Aldersey to Edward Morrall, the New Hall at Penley, 1699 (financial transactions with Mr. Dymock and Mr. Jones); Jno. Morrall, London, Rochester, etc., to his brother Edward Morrall, Keelhendrey, 1733-1739 (8) (the writer's deputy purser, the purchase of S[outh] Sea Stock, brother Andrew's maintenance, the writer's illhealth, etc.); John Whitehall, Lincolns Inn, to Edward Morrall, Kilhenry, 1739 (comments on the recipient's arrears and his proposal to purchase a field); Thos. Knight, Whitchurch, to William Challnor, Keelhendrey, 1747-1747/8 (3) (the recipient's purchase of the Plas Yollin estate); Margt. Morrall, Hollywell, etc., to her brother William Challner, Keelhendre, 1747 (2), and to Mr. [Thomas] Knight, attorney at law, Whitchurch, 1748 (3) (the valuation of the Plas Yollin estate); [Sir] Edwd. Lloyd, London, to Thomas Knight, Whitchurch, 1748 (Plas Yollin estate deeds); Edwd. Jennings, Plas Warren, to William Challner, Iscoyd, 1748-1771 (3), and to Mr. [Thomas] Knight, Whitchurch, 1748 (Plas Yollin estate deeds, the conveyance of Mascynnycod); Wm. Challnor to Mr. [Thomas] Knight, Whitchurch, 1748 (2) (the title to Plas Yollin); Jos. Lee, Redbrook, to Chas. Morrall, Plas Yollen, 1812 (a sketch of allotments on Dudleston Heath, and the proportion due to the recipient for his leaseholds); and D[eborah] Morrall to her father [Edward Morrall], undated (personal). The miscellaneous papers include a bill of complaint of Richd. Pryce, gent., one of the clerks in the office of the pleas of the Court of Exchequer, against Edward Morrall and Thomas Aldersey for the payment of a debt due from John Morrall, deceased, 1698/9; particulars of miscellaneous disbursements, 1739-1741; a computation of the value of the late Mr. Murhall's estate in Dudliston, 1747; and an undated [eighteenth century] notice to beggars that no relief will be given at the door at Plas Yollen, but that any family recommended by creditable neighbours will be relieved, etc.
