Baily, widow of Richard Baily of the War Office Department, to the government for financial assistance in view of her husband’s service to the country, 1836-1837. The contents comprise a printed statement of Mrs Baily’s case, 1821, with a copy of a petition to Lord Viscount Melbourne, and letters by Katherine Baily at Aldersgate Street and King’s Bench, concerning the damage to her family’s reputation, her appeal to Lord Euston, naming various other government ministers with an interest in the case; and a reply to her from Pryse’s aunt, J.M.
