The series comprises notebooks and other volumes containing notes made by O. M. Edwards while a student at Bala, Aberystwyth and Oxford, and later as a Fellow of Lincoln College, Oxford. They contain lists of books which he had read, notes on poetry and prose texts, notes on sermons and scriptural texts, details of preaching engagements, journal entries, historical and research notes.
