Roedd Alun Tudor Lewis (1905-1986) o Landudno, sir Gaernarfon, yn awdur storiâu byrion, yn athro mathemateg yn Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy, Llanrwst, sir Ddinbych, rhwng 1932 a 1967, ac yn ddirprwy brifathro yno yn ddiweddarach. Derbyniodd ei addysg yng Ngholeg Prifysgol Gogledd Cymru, Bangor. Roedd yn awdur bum casgliad o storiâu byrion: Corlan Twsog, 1948; Y Piser Trwm, 1957; Blwyddyn o Garchar,1962; Y Dull Deg, 1973; a Cesig Eira, 1979.
