A transcript, [?1841], [in the hand of John Jones (Tegid)], of the beginning (ff. 1-8 only) of the Welsh text of 'Pwyll Pendevig Dyved' (entitled 'Llyma dechreu mabinogi') [corresponding to Mabinogion (1849), III, 7-13 (line 5)] (A7/1); together with drafts, [1842x1843] (watermarks 1842), in the hand of Charlotte Guest, of the eleven notes for the tale [Mabinogion (1849), III, 72-78], together with a further note, 'Preseleu (p. 59)', not in the printed version (A7/2).
The texts were first published in The Mabinogion… Part V: The Dream of Rhonabwy and the Tale of Pwyll Prince of Dyved (London and Llandovery, 1843).
