A note by [J] Spinther [James] facing p. 584 begins 'Dyma'r "Cyfamod" y dywed Cofianwyr Christmas Evans ei fod ar goll' (see also his Hanes y Bedyddwyr yn Nghymru, Cyf IV (Caerfyrddin, 1907), pp. 433-4).
