Sir Cadwaladr Bryner Jones (1872-1954) was a leading figure in Welsh agricultural education. Born in Dolgellau, Merionethsire, and educated at Durham University, he became a lecturer in agriculture at the University of North Wales, Bangor, in 1893. Sir Cadwaladr Bryner Jones was awarded the C.B.E. in 1920, the C.B. in 1934, and a knighthood in 1947. He undertook research into the history of cattle, publishing several papers on the topic.
