Hughes. -- Also included are a box of papers, 1950s, mainly articles written by Brenda Hughes (second wife of Dr Goronwy Hughes) relating to Romanian life, and copies of the British Rumanian Bulletin, 1953-1960; 3 boxes of papers, 1970s, accumulated by Dr Zuzana Hughes, containing working papers and questionnaire analysis relating to the social problems of elderly people, mainly in Flintshire; together with a box of press cuttings and photocopies, 1956-1991, relating mainly to his interests in minority languages such as oceanic languages and anthropology, including extracts from the periodicals Pacific Affairs, Hungarian Review and Studies in Philology.
