A collection of Welsh texts, including two versions of Trioedd Ynys Prydain; Brut y Saeson; Cantrefi a Chymydau Cymru; a text on Eisteddfod Caerfyrddin; Dyddiau Tyngedfenol; Macsen Wledig; and Hanes Gruffudd ap Cynan in the hand of John Jones, Gellilyfdy while he was detained in the Fleet prison, 1635-1641.
There are also a few Latin texts, including a memoranda of events in English history from A.D. 140 to 1380, De Geometria, and the Life of Elgarus. The text was completed on 22nd June 1641 by John Jones of Ysgeifiog and transcribed by William Maurice in 1662.
