Biographical history
The University Council Finance Committee was established in 1921. It inherited the functions of the Registrar and Treasurer's offices which acted on behalf of the Court's Standing Executive Committee. The Finance Committee was replaced by the Finance and General Purposes Committee at the Council Meeting of 17 January 1969.
