The UCW Agricultural Society was founded in March 1898.
The two groups (1987 and 2002) have been incorporated to create one description and papers from the first deposit have been renumbered.

The fonds comprises minutes books of the Society, 1952-1997, and files of correspondence and papers, 1960-2001, together with a file of correspondence with the Inland Revenue, 1960-1961.
