A vol. of transcripts containing:. (A) 'The Account of the Overseers of the Poor for the part of the parish of Gwyddelwern called Cwm from 7th May 1781 to 27th April 1807 & a list of the Overseers from 1822 to 1879. 'Copied from the original account now in the possession of Mr R. Idris Williams Bangor Carnarvonshire formerly of Old Post Office Gwyddelwern Merionethshire by Gaenor and John Roberts Hughes of 13 Cilcen Grove Wrexham North Wales in May June & July 1924. 26 July 1924: J. R. Hughes.'. (B) 'Cofnod - lyfr Claddedigaethau yn Eglwys Blwyf Cerrig y drudion Gogledd Cymru [1815-31] gan Robert Edwards Clochydd y Plwyf.' .... 'Copiwyd ym Medi 1926 gan John Roberts Hughes 13 Cilcen Grove, Wrecsam', with two broadsides, 'Adroddiad Blynyddol Cymdeithas (Ddyngarol) Gyfeillgar Cerrig-y-druidion', 1892 and 1895. (C) 'Cofnod-lyfr Bedyddiadau yn Eglwys Blwyf Cerrig y drudion Gogledd Cymru [? 1813-31] gan Robert Edwards Clochydd y Plwyf. .... 'Copiwyd gan John Roberts Hughes 13 Cilcen Grove Wrecsam ym Medi 1927.'. The Cerrig-y-drudion records of which (b) and (c) are transcripts were given to Mr W. D. Jones, Cerrig-y-drudion, Highway Surveyor for Uwchaled Rural District, in 1890 by Evan Jones, the son-in-law of Robert Edwards. (See also p. 349.).
