A manuscript and typescript copy of the autobiography of Rev. J. Lloyd Williams, Baptist minister, entitled 'The autobiography of an ordinary minister', 1942, together with a collection of letters from his son Private Trevor Lloyd Williams, 1916-1917, while serving as a soldier in the Somme during the First World War. Some of the soldier's personal papers are included and his 'From the line to the base. The personal experiences of one who was slightly wounded' in his hand, and transcripts of this account and the war letters are included in 'Trevor's war' compiled by the donor J. Stuart Davies, [nephew of Trevor Lloyd Williams] .

Darparwyd nodyn bywgraffyddol amdano gan y rhoddwr Mrs Eunice Davies. = Diary of John Davies recording his experiences as a soldier in World War One serving in the village of Reninghelst, Belgium, July-December 1915. He was originally from Drefach Felindre, Carmarthenshire. A biographical note has been included by the donor Mrs Eunice Davies.

Tua un llythyr ar hugain oddi wrth y Preifat Dan Evans, Ffisilwyr Brenhinol Cymreig, a anfonwyd ganddo at ei rieni Daniel a Mary Evans yn fferm Maesglas yng Nghaeo, Sir Gaerfyrddin, o Wersyll Milwrol Cinmel ym Modelwyddan ac o faes y gad yn Ffrainc. Yn eu plith mae llythyr oddi wrth ei gyfnither Mary yn Saesneg a llythyr oddi wrth Preifat J. G. Davey at rieni’r milwr yn nodi i'w mab gael ei daro yn ei dalcen gan ddarn bach o shrapnel. Collodd ei fywyd ar 19 Awst 1916 yn ddwy ar hugain mlwydd oed. Yn amgaeedig mae copi o erthygl 'The secrets of the little tin box, the WW1 letters of Caio-born Private Dan Evans, RWF' gan y rhoddwr a baratodd yn 1996 a llungopi o restr a ddarparwyd gan Gomisiwn Beddau Rhyfel y Gymanwlad yn nodi'r rhai a enwir ar Gofeb Thiepval. = Approximately twenty one letters from Private Dan Evans, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, to his parents Daniel and Mary Evans at Maesglas Farm in Caeo, Carmarthenshire, written from Kinmel Military Training Camp in Bodelwyddan and on active service in France. Included is a letter from a cousin Mary and from Private J. G. Davey to the soldier’s parents informing them that their son had been ‘hit in the forehead by a small piece of shrapnel’. He died in France on 19 August 1916 aged twenty two. Enclosed is an article by the donor entitled 'The secrets of the little tin box, the WW1 letters of Caio-born Private Dan Evans, RWF', together with a copy of a printed list issued by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission which identifies Private Daniel Evans as missing.
