Eitem CR9/24/39 - Letter from Shitab Rai

I have been waiting anxiously for the news of your well-being since you left this place. I hope that you have by now reached Calcutta safely. I sent the letter-bag you had left with me containing farmans, sanads, etc., relating to provinces Huzur-i purnur. I am enclosing a letter of acknowledgement received from His Imperial Majesty.
Enclosure 1: Letter from Shah Alam Badshah to Lord Clive. Received your letter thanking me for the grant of firamin and documents relating to the administration of provinces. I regard you as the right-hand men of our Khilafat and your happiness is dear to us. Please keep us informed regularly about your well-being. Meanwhile, we grant permission for the above mentioned sanads.
Enclosure 2: Letter from Shitab Ra’e to Clive. You had asked me to recover fifty thousand rupees which were spent on the preparation of firamin, sanads, etc., from Nawab Mubariz al-Mulk, Muin al-Daulah Sayyid Muhammad Riza Khan Bahadur Muzaffar Jang. I have passed this request to him and expect to receive this amount soon.
Enclosure 3: Letter from Shitab Ra’e to Clive. I had gone to Rani Sara’e on 16th of this month to see Nawab Mubariz al-Mulk, Muin al-Daulah Sayyid Muhammad Riza Khan Bahadur Muzaffar Jang. By chance, he reached Azimabad on 18th instant and I was able to discuss with him various issues regarding the administration of provinces. I am sending this note for your information
