Scope and content
Title deeds of various parcels of land in the township of Bonwm and parish of Corwen, 1666-1717. They include a parcel of land near the river Dyfrdwy purchased by Eubule Thelwall of Nantclwyd, Denbighshire, from Robert Griffith, 1665/6, and Erw Dole Woogan, Erw'r Llechwedd and a parcel of land in Y Werglodd Fechan tan Werglodd y Gell, acquired from Robert ap Roger and Griffith John Edmund of Bonwm, 1680. There is evidence that Mary Thelwall of Nantclwyd acquired properties in Corwen, formerly the inheritance of John Thomas ap Robert, together with Tu Wynne and Tu Tan Y Graig, late the inheritance of John Mathew, and a messuage in Dole Corwen, 1717, followed by a conveyance by Mary Thelwall and her younger sisters, Susan, Dorothy, Martha and Anne, to Lumley Salesbury of Rug, 1717.
