The first, probably written in the late eighteenth century, is entitled 'Diocese of St. Davids' and contains details of livings in each deanery within the archdeaconries of Carmarthen and Cardigan. The second booklet contains a mid-nineteenth century transcript of the will, dated 1 July 1616, of Henry Rowlands, bishop of Bangor, with a few additional notes relating to the bishop and the memorials he caused to be erected in Bangor cathedral church to himself and to Richard Vaughan (?1550-1607), bishop of Bangor. The spine is lettered 'Diocese of St. Davids MS'.
