Davies, Efrog Newydd, yn trafod materion derwyddol, ynghyd â darn o lythyr arall yn llaw Evan Davies, a anfonwyd o bosibl at yr un derbynnydd (ff. 3-6). = A collection of six documents, 1876-1882, relating to the establishment of Druidism in the United States of America by authority of 'Gorsedd Dderwyddol Ynys Brydain a Chadair Morganwg'. The collection includes two parchment documents: a certificate, 1876, authorizing James Davies ('Corafar') [the Revd. James Davies M.A. according to Bye-gones (1874-5), p. 123], 'Vicarial Arch-druid of America', 'to perpetuate and propagate in the western hemisphere of the world the Druidic cause' (f. 1), together with a document authorizing the establishment of a Druidic University in the United States, under James Davies' direction (f. 2). Davies, New York, discussing druidism, together with a fragment of another letter in the hand of Evan Davies, possibly sent to the same recipient (ff. 3-6).
