All files contain info relating to the international and league teams and games and include items such as photocopies of programmes, fixtures, cuttings and articles, score books and scoring cards, handbooks, rules and official laws and selection notification postcards; together with original copies of scoring cards, photographs, circulars, some correspondence and minutes, diamond drawings, financial reports and [newsletters].

Cornish Bureau for European Relations (CoBER) letters

The series comprises letters, mainly by John Fleet, head of the secretariat of the Cornish Bureau for European Relations (CoBER), to individuals, including Lord St Levan, Jane Lofthouse, Sir Russell Johnston, Sebastian Coe, Paul Tyler, Robin Teverson, Mark Killilea, other members of Parliament and the European Parliament, and to officials of Cornwall County Council, Groundwork Kerrier, the Institute of Cornish Studies, Bredereth Sen Jago, the Council of Europe, The European Centre for Traditional and Regional Cultures (ECTARC), the European Commission, the European Bureau for Lesser Used Languages, the church and the press. The main subjects are: administration within Cowethas Flamank and CoBER; relationships with local government; a petition to the European Parliament to gain official recognition of Cornwall's national identity, language and heritage, with hopes for funding and a proposed Cornish cultural centre; misrepresentation of CoBER's motives; links with the European Parliament's Intergroup on Minority Languages and Cultures; the place of Cornwall in the broader European cultural tradition; heritage and tourism initiatives, such as Cornwall's participation in the Council of Europe cultural routes programme; social and economic problems affecting railways, industries and old age pensioners; rugby; music; the Cornish Gorsedd; development of the CoBER library; and organisation of the Cornish local authority system. All files contain enclosures of press cuttings, circulars, printed pamphlets, reports, articles, minutes of meetings and notes describing the work of CoBER.

Personal letters

Personal letters, 1939-2001, relating mainly to literary matters, including some from editors of periodicals expressing their views on his poems and letters he received during his time serving with the RAF in Palestine; together with letters written by Peter Hellings to his wife Manon and testimonials.

Notebooks and other research materials,

Notebooks used by Jan Morris to record details subsequently used to compile her various published works, together with other materials collected by her for the same purpose.

Electoral papers

The series comprises mainly electoral ephemera, letters, minutes and information relating to General, European, County Council and Assembly Elections with which the Rev. Roger Roberts was involved, especially the Liberal Party in the Conwy Parliamentary Constituency, 1950-1999. Files 1/8-1/15 comprise election ephemera, mostly from north Wales and several political parties 1945-2015.

National Coal Board papers,

Papers, 1947-1985, arising directly from Philip Weekes' work at the National Coal Board, comprising a large number of memoranda and notes, 1962-1985; some general notebooks, 1973-1980; several reports and brochures, 1974-1985; and numerous official minutes with attached annexes, 1977-1983; correspondence and papers, 1947-1983 (3 folders) relating to Philip Weekes's emplyment by the National Coal Board; and his diaries, 1979-1985.
