Y Borva Newydd

A mortgage by Owen David Lloyd to Robert Sonlley the younger of Cristionydd, Denbighshire, and Edward Bromfielde of Ruabon, of parcels of land called Y Borva Newith (Newydd), a parcel of garden called Grofte yr Odyn and a parcel of meadow called Gwerne Tuder Boole and Y Pwll Llydan, all in the township of Main, with counterpart, 1598/9, followed by the reconveyance, 1606.

On page iii and the top of page iv are recorded the details concerning the time and date of the birth of William Owen [-Pughe]'s three children as well as details of the date and place of their christenings, and a stippled drawing of an infant [Aneurin Owen]; pages iv and ii carry details of the time and date of birth of the eight children of [Aneurin Owen]; and a leaf at the end of the volume carries details of the birth of John Owen's children, i.e. William Owen [-Pughe] and his brothers and sisters.
