'Gossodedigaetheu a Messureu y Deyrnas, Cantrevi a Chymydeu Kymry', being a list of hundreds, commotes and other geographical divisions within Wales. At the end of every division is a list of its castles.
The list of 'Cantreds and Commotes of Wales' (p. 5) agrees practically with the one in Peniarth MS 163.

A 'Copy of the Dedication of, and Preface to Sir Thomas Wiliems's Latin-British Dictionary', together with notes on the life and work of Dr John Davies, Mallwyd, and ballads, which include the works of Rowland Fychan of Caer-gai, Lewis Morris and Richard Abraham, written c. 1738 (see p. 2). Miscellaneous Welsh poems in strict and free metre including a 'cywydd' by R[obert] Humphreys alias Rhagatt [? of Rhagat near Corwen, co. Merioneth, fl. 1720] entitled 'Cywydd i ofyn Casseg I Thomas Holland, Esqr. o Dyrdan', stanzas by the same poet headed 'Penillion a wnaud i Evan twll naw ag i siane hewart o Lan Rhaiad ar hun gwenllian', a poem by Hugh Jones, Llangwm [co. Denbigh, ? 1700-1782], entitled 'Cerdd newydd a wnaed i Gaseg Howel Lloyd o Hafod Unnos, Esqr. iw chanu ar Bel Isle March', and two anonymous poems, one being a 'cywydd' entitled 'Cowydd am draferth y bud ar gyffraeth', and the other an elegy [to the Reverend John Wickstead, archdeacon of Wells, 1739-1742] headed 'Cerdd farwnad er Coffadwrieth am y Parchedig Ddifeunydd Mr. John Wickstead, Archdiacon Bath & Wells: ar Ddyll Ymddiddan iw Chanu ar fesur a Elwir Crimson Velvett'.

Two tune books now bound as one volume, the first (ff. 1-16) probably compiled in the late eighteenth century and the second (ff. 18-42) by 1800, containing hymn-tunes and psalm-tunes, together with a few englynion and other verse in Welsh (ff. 18 verso-20), and various memoranda.

A cycle of three interludes on the history of the world, and miscellaneous poems, mainly englynion and poetry in carol metres, autograph, 1739-1758, by Thomas Williams, 'Merchant Taylor' (ca. 1690-1763), Tal-y-bont, Llandygai, Caernarfonshire, all of which appear in his published work Mynegiad yr hen oesoedd ... (London, 1761). Folios i (the original front cover), 1-6, 136-41 are palimpsests. The underwriting, partly legible under ultra-violet light, is from fifteenth and sixteenth century court records relating to Caernarfonshire, consisting mainly of lists of names.
