A bundle consisting of a minute on the formation of another ecclesiastical district, that of Eglwys Oen Duw, sent with a covering note by Charles Evan Thomas, 3 Aug., 1881 (326), a draft of R. Lister Venables' application to the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for a separate district on the official form and a fuller answer to one of the queries on a separate sheet, the draft proposal of the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for setting up the separate district of Newbridge-on-Wye to present to the Queen in Council (327), two copies of the London Gazette for July 14 1882 containing a copy of the Order in Council by which this scheme was ratified and a bound copy for July 14 and 28 (328), a copy of the same paper for Aug. 5, 1887 publishing the contents of an instrument for securing the grant of a stipend for the incumbent of the new district (328 iii), statistics referring to the living of Llanafan Fawr in 1866 and 1883 (330), the petition and signatures of some of the villagers of Newbridge against breaking away from the old parish of Llanyre (329), the manuscript and 5 printed copies of G. S. Venables' reply (332), and two printed copies (331) of the Ecclesiastical Commissioners Regulations for Grants out of the Common Fund (March 1881).

A bundle of 26 financial documents, including an inventory of the goods at Plasgwyn, taken at the death of Paul Panton the younger 1822; an assignment from Jones Panton to his sister, E. M. Panton, of 41/2 shares in the Ellesmere and Chester Canal, 1824, and receipts in connection with the funeral expenses of Elizabeth M. Panton. The bundle is labelled: "Our accounts signed and settled with my brother Jones.".

Llangennech, including vouchers and invoices in respect of the payment of interest and of rent of Corne hwrth and Llwyn Evan, legal charges, a yoke of oxen, salt, candles, tobacco, cheese, canvas, etc., memoranda of goods distrained at Llwyn Evan, 1725; a case touching a mortgage of Llwyn Evan and Cornhwrdd to Hugh Jones of Cwm-llethryd (undated); a lease for thirty-one years of mines of coal at Pwll y Cadno and Rhandir y Glo under Cornhwrdd and Llwyn Evan, 1713; and bonds for the payment of money. Vouchers of Arthur Price, Llandybïe, 1721-44, in respect of the payment of rent, interest, an annuity charged on Grogwynnon, p. Llanddarog, etc.
