Recites the recital in no. 1203, that in 1798 Mary Coman married Thomas Webb, and that she had assigned the £800 to James Hardwick and Thomas Weare in trust for her own separate use, that 2 was desirous that the land tax charged on the mortgaged property and other lands of William Vaughan should be redeemed and that the property should be sold for that purpose. Bond in £2,000 that William Vaughan, esq., shall, when of age, execute a conveyance to 2 of a tmt. in Monnow Street, a piece of meadow ground called the Shoulder of Mutton being parcel of a common meadow called Chippenham, lying between the lands of the corporation of Monmouth on the east and the town ditch or common ditch to the north or north west (further boundaries described), a tmt. formerly called The Plough near Monnow Street and afterwards converted into a kitchen, laundry and offices, a parcel of meadow land called the Butt acre or Old Bowling Green (10 a. boundaries given), the right of way from the last mentioned tmt. to Monnow Street, a piece of meadow land called Little Chippenham, all of which are in the town and p. of Monmouth, and were purchased after William Vaughan made his will and which it is conceived, did not pass under the devisee to Frances Vaughan, Charles Bodenham and John Jones, but descended to William Vaughan the son as heir at law. Recites the appointment of Frances Vaughan, Charles Bodenham and John Jones as guardians of William Vaughan's son of the same name, the will of William Vaughan (1790) and that William Vaughan 's trustees were anxious to clear his debts.
