A school exercise book containing the notes of five Welsh sermons. The first sermon is attributed to 'y Parch Hugh Jones (W), Tregarth' [the Reverend Hugh Jones, Wesleyan minister, who ministered at Tre- garth, co. Caernarvon, during three separate periods between 1866 and 1896].

A note-book possibly in the hand of the Reverend John Evans, Baptist minister, best known as John Evans, Abercannaid, Merthyr. The contents consist entirely of sermon notes, 1827-1829 and undated. Inset are loose items, including a note addressed by D. Rhys Stephen, from Abertawy, to the Reverend John Evans, [18]31 (accompanying a copy of a three-stanza hymn by John Morris, headed 'Hymn dduwiol a gyfansoddwyd i'r Parch. Mr. Davies, Alltwen'), and further sermon notes, [18]44 and [18]67, bearing the initials 'J.E.'., or the signature 'John Evans'.
