The correspondence deals with the Flintshire estate of Paul Panton, with mining leases, colliery undertakings, the navigation of the river Dee, railroads, the Talar Goch mine, smelting works, the Nant-y-Moch pottery, Bagillt 'cop' and damage from storms and floods, and proceedings against Dee fishermen.
