Mortgage for £400 by Rowland Pughe of Rug and Elizabeth his wife [nee Salesbury], to Charles Edwards of Tredderwen Fawr, Montgomeryshire, 1724/5, of Havod and other messuages (tenants named), three water corn mills called Rug Mill, Corwen Mill, and Llwyn y Braine Mill, and duties issuing in Corwen, Saithmarchog, Aelhaearn, Ucheldre, Llygadog, Betws-y-Coed, Ddol Carrog, Presaethydd, Bodheulog, and Bodorlas, all in the townships of Rug, Ucheldre, Llygadog, Aberalwen, and Ddol, in the parishes of Corwen, Gwyddelwern and Llangar, Merioneth, reciting the partition of the estate of Owen Salesbury in 1720-1721 and the subsequent uses.
