An account book,

An account book used at various times between 1747 and 1906. It contains receipts signed, 1747-1757, by Martha Williams (née Mansel, and afterwards the wife of Alexander Scurlock) for sums of money due to her from Thomas Eynon, clerk, and Anne, the wife of Rawleigh Mansel, trustees of the property of her late husband, John Williams; receipts signed by her daughter, Anne Mansel, 1748; a rent roll of an estate in the parishes of Mydrim, Llanwinio and Llanboidy, and the county borough of Carmarthen, 1745; miscellaneous accounts, 1904-1906.

Golden Grove estate rentals,

Rentals of the Golden Grove estate, co. Carmarthen, c. 1650 (ff. 1-70) and 1671 (ff. 91 verso-189 verso inverted text), both apparently written, and the latter signed, by Richard Vaughan, 2nd earl of Carbery (?1600-1686), including details about leases granted, duties payable, names of previous and present tenants, entry fines and details added following his death of leases granted, 1694-6 (ff. 104, 126, 139 verso).

Thirteen holograph letters addressed to David Davies. The writers include Anne Davies, Llwyn [Llan-y-crwys] [1838] (the Brunant affair), Benjamin] Davies, University Coll[ege] Hospital, London, the recipient's son, undated (2) (the progress of the writer's medical studies, personal), and [Sir] D[avid] Davies [surgeon], Hampton [near London], etc., 1827-1848 (10) ( the recipient's management of the Rhosybedw [Llan-y-crwys] estate, the claim of Mr. Lloyd of Brunant [for the payment of principal and interest on a bond executed by Lewis Price of Rhosybedw], the writer's voyage to Malta, Mr. Morgan's reluctance to produce title-deeds [of the Llwyn estate ], a nuisance caused to the writer's premises in Llandovery by the erection of a school house, the writer's proposed visit to Wales, the visit of the recipient's daughter [Anne] to London). The group also includes two draft letters from David Davies to Sir David Davies, 1838-1848 (the claim of Mr. Lloyd of Brunant, Rhosybedw rents and accounts).

A volume containing rent accounts, 1802-43, with individual tenants in Pembroke (St. Mary and St. Michael), Narberth, Templeton, Monkton, Pembroke Ferry, Crunwear, Lawrenny, Crinow, etc., Pembrokeshire, and Carmarthen, etc., Carmarthenshire. Inset are holograph letters from J. Leach, Pembroke, to David Raymond, Crunwear, 1836 (the purchase of property), and G. Raynes to [John Leach], [18]65 (the purchase of hoops for a cooper's use).

An extended transcript by T[homas] W[akeman], The Graig, parish of Llantilio Crossenny, of a rental of the estates of Sir William Herbert, afterwards first earl of Pembroke, in Llantilio Crossenny and Llanfihangel Ystern Llewern, 1459, with additional notes by the transcriber and by Bradney; and insets, including a holograph letter of Fran. Edwards, 1724, relating to Llwyn Ffortun, parish of Llanegwad, Carmarthenshire, and a rental of the estates of the late Richard Lewis of Llantilio Crossenny in Monmouthshire and Carmarthenshire, 1836-1837. The volume bears the bookplate of Sir Henry Mather Jackson, Bart, Llantilio Crossenny, 1892.
