There are beds ordered at Ragland for several of the leading Whigs. This attendance is so unusual that he cannot help but suspect some sinister designs. It may be, though it is most improbable, that they will start a third candidate. He mentions this so that they may be prepared. There is time enough to get Mr Morgan to attend, and even Mr Bosanquet would be in time if sent for immediately to support Lord Worcester and Octavius Morgan in case the opposite party set up a third man.
