Title deeds, 1585-1642, 1722-1728, of properties in the townships of Trefnant Fawr and Trefnant Fechan in the parishes of Castell Caereinion and Welshpool, including houses and lands acquired through long lease, assignment or purchase by Richard Derwas of Penrhos, 1587, 1593, 1616, and his son, Hugh Derwas, 1616, 1628; a lease by Hugh Derwas, 1642; and notes on the will and deeds of John Topp of Welshpool and Whitton, 1722-1728.

A delivery book, 1864-1872, of William Morgan and Sons, maltsters, Welshpool, recording deliveries of grain, malt, hops, etc., to customers mainly in co. Montgomery. Each entry includes the type and quantity of the goods delivered and the names of the customer, deliverer and receiver. Later accounts, 1917, relating to the sale of livestock have been added at the end of the volume (ff. 363v-7v).

Miscellaneous documents, 1824-1852, relating to church affairs within various parishes in Montgomeryshire, among them Berriew (several of the documents concern Berriew school), Darowen, Eglwysfach, Llanfyllin, Llangynyw, Llansanffraid, Llanwddyn, Welshpool and the township of Garthbwlch, together with Denbigh, county Denbighshire. There is also a notebook bearing entries for the period 1827-1848 on visitations, inspections and statements of accounts relating to various schools within Montgomeryshire.

The file contains notes for two speeches made by Gus Jones, one in opposition to the establishment of a gypsy site at Welshpool, and the other a vote of thanks to Harry Jones, a planning officer.
