Understands that since all the other commotes are raising their subsidies - that is the two latter payments - Owen has ordered the re-collecting of what falls on Eifionydd, which is to be paid at Caernarvon on the 12th at the house of Robert Meredith into the hands of John Owen, the drover, or to his order there. In the raising of the two latter subsidies the writer recommends to Owen's consideration one Robert Evans who lately has lost his wife, which has left six children motherless. Respects from himself and his wife to Lady Owen, and their joint loves to his pretty cousin Nelly.
