A volume, 1816 (watermark 1809), in the hand of Robert Pughe, written whilst a student at St Thomas's and Guy's Hospitals, London, containing notes of lectures on anatomy delivered mostly by Astley Cooper.
Subjects covered include the circulatory system and blood, the nervous system, muscles and bone structure (pp. 1-115), ligaments (pp. 119-135) and the brain (pp. 150-176, inverted text); there are also notes on the treatment of gonorrhoea (pp. 116-118). A contents list for the first series of lectures (pp. 1-115) is on p. 177.
