Some relate to the activities of the Land Authority for Wales, of which she became chairman in 1976, the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, and Coleg Harlech. The file comprises letters relating mainly to matters arising from the House of Lords and to Lady White's public work, notably in relation to environmental concerns. Some concern Welsh affairs, among them devolution, the affairs of the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion, and the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth. A few relate to Lady White's work for the Dictionary of National Biography. Diaries of Geraint Dyfnallt Owen, comprising diary entries in Welsh, 9-23 January 1928, as an undergraduate student at Aberystwyth (MS 23325B); diaries, mainly in English, 8 February-3 December 1931, while at Oxford (MSS 23326B-23327A, the latter also including an account of a visit to Brittany, 23 July-7 September 1931); and diaries spanning the period spent as a Research Fellow of UCW, Aberystwyth, 1932-1936 (MSS 23328-23333A), and as a member of staff of the BBC in Cardiff and Swansea, 1937-1938 (MSS 23334-23336B) and London, 1940-1941 (MS 23337B). This last diary, written in Welsh, contains a commentary on the progress of the Second World War, including the background to certain events and forecasts concerning their outcome.

A mimeographed copy of a list of books and manuscripts from the Crosswood Library at the Welsh Library of the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, and draft bibliographies on general British history by John Edward Lloyd, on Welsh history, 1282-1500, by Dr. William Rees, and on political thought in Wales in the nineteenth century by Thomas Evans.

An extract from the minutes of the Council of the University College of Wales, 30 June 1870, relating to an interview between Henry Richard and W. E. Gladstone on the subject of an Exchequer grant to the College (item 1); and a draft (or copy) of a letter, 4 July 1883, from Henry Richard (item 2) and of a statement on intermediate education in Wales, signed by nearly all the members of Parliament for Welsh constituencies, to be sent to Mr Gladstone (item 3).

A holograph essay on 'Y Mabinogion fel Llenyddiaeth' by 'Y Macwy Mud' [E. Stanton Roberts]. The essay was submitted in January 1911 for the T. E. Ellis Essay Prize at University College of Wales, Aberystwyth.
